Grave of Rubies Plot Summary
When you think of Hell, what comes to your mind? Is it a lake of fire? A red evil man holding a pitchfork? Maybe the screaming souls of sinners and grotesque demons watching over them? Well.. what if it were more complicated than that? Grave of Rubies takes the concept of hell in a direction no one has seen before!

After his fall, Lucifer created the Nine Hells and all of its inhabitants to spite his mother, Avalon, the creation Goddess herself. Though, Lucifer was one to grow bored easily. After growing tired of his first companions, Lucifer created the Archdemons. These Archdemons were his first children, and each was assigned a circle to rule over while Lucifer remained Hell’s king. As expected, the fallen angel grew tired of the Archdemons. To replace them, he created the original war demons. These kids would be his final straw before he decided to abandon hell forever, leaving the Archdemons their own war demon charge to look after, as well as a kingdom to be responsible for. His only kindness was to create a royal bloodline in his stead. With no guidance to the newly created royal family, Hell fell into chaos. The Archdemons began creating their own armies of War Demons, the original Nine siblings were separated, and war demons as a whole became no more than oppressed weapons.

As the Millennia passed, things only worsened for the war demons, leading to an uprising that would haunt the ruling classes to the present day. WIth corruption at the top, the rebellion was given the opportunity to grow. This eventually led to full scale war in which the Prince himself became a casualty. In an effort to stop the war and keep his son safe, the current King Vaoko enlisted the help of someone unexpected. A notorious war demon General by the name of Aradan would be gifted to Prince Zora as a bodyguard in light of the young Prince’s horrific rebellion based kidnapping. Zora and Aradan must rely on each other to face the upcoming threats facing them down.
Full of court intrigue, romance, and a perilous war, there is never a dull moment in the world of Grave of Rubies. Should you stay, buckle in and prepare for a ride!

Michaela Weisbarth
Michaela Weisbarth, 23, has been an artist for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in rural Northeast Ohio, she always felt like the country wasn't her place. From a young age, she dreamed of living in a big city where there was something to do around every corner. She wanted the hustle and bustle, the noise, and the busy lifestyle that she just couldn't achieve at home.
Over the course of four years, Michaela truly honed her skills as an Illustrator and Visual Developer. In Spring semester of her senior year of College, she and her co-writer produced a 160 page Concept Art-Book dedicated to the development of their latest portfolio project and novel Grave of Rubies.

My name is Kae, 22, and I'm a recent graduate Columbus College of Art and Design. My background lies heavily in theater design, and my BFA is in illustration, but concept art and 3D sculpting are my passion.
The main theme of my work is adult high fantasy, taking inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons, League of Legends, The Elder Scrolls series, the Dragon Age series, and many more. I enjoy bringing characters, creatures, and environments to life and offering an array of diversity to the fantasy.
